"The sauce was exquisite!"

Just popped in for a drink and wound up deciding to have the crab claws. OMG not what I expected at ALL! The sauce was exquisite! I've eaten in countless restaurants in this town, and this is one of the most delicious things I have ever had! Btw, they also make the best Pimm's Cup I have had in this city as well.

"Fantastic Food & Service"

Our first day in NOLA we went to the Royal House for dinner. Our waiter was Joseph and he was attentive but also gave us our space to talk and laugh and just enjoy our time. To start we shared the Crawfish Cakes and as it was a Monday we both ordered the most logical food, Red Beans and Rice. The cakes came with a rich sweet, sauce. One each was perfect! The beans and rice came with sausage and fried chicken. Seriously delicious! And the chicken was out of this world!! I've never had fried chicken that I've liked before, never mind loved!! We were on our way out and saw the guys chucking oysters. We stopped to watch for a minute and Brandon asked us if we wanted to try an Oyster Shot. My friend sidelight away and after a little nudging I did too but with some delicious home made Seafood Sauce. Again delicious!! I would most certainly recommend Royal House to anyone who wants have a delightful NOLA meal with wonderful service. I'm sure we will be back!!

"Succulent oysters..."

Succulent oysters for your aphrodisiac fix. Shrimp and cheesy grits are to die for, and the shrimp étouffée rocks the Royal House.

Best place to sit is at the bar or the upstairs balcony, where they perform a variety of street shows down below.

These guys have a famous Bloody Mary, which was so delicious I asked them to hit me again! Perfect for lunch while shopping for Art and fudge on super fun Royal Street!

Charming place with very nice ambience, great oysters and cocktails! Would definitely go back again. Grilled oysters and crab claws are fantastic.

"Always great oysters!"

Back in New Orleans and our first stop was the royal house for oysters. Shared a dozen on the half shell and a dozen grilled. Perfection! One of our favorite spots in the French quarter!

"...when something tastes so good that it touches your soul..."

You know when something tastes so good that it touches your soul and makes you close your eyes so that enjoy every single detail? Everything here will make you feel that way.

Our waiter, don't know his name but he had long dreads was so easy-going, relaxed and had a ton of great recommendations on the menu.

We had the Seafood Pescatore and Shrimp Platter along with Oyster Tacos and the Rosemblum Zinfandel. WOW. 10/10 for all dishes. The Shrimp Platter is VERY generous. Be hungry for it. The Seafood Pescatore is incredibly light. It will make you rethink what that kind of pasta is supposed to taste like. We got the scampi sauce instead of the marinara thanks to the suggestion of our waiter. We did NOT regret it!!!
