Our first day in NOLA we went to the Royal House for dinner. Our waiter was Joseph and he was attentive but also gave us our space to talk and laugh and just enjoy our time. To start we shared the Crawfish Cakes and as it was a Monday we both ordered the most logical food, Red Beans and Rice. The cakes came with a rich sweet, sauce. One each was perfect! The beans and rice came with sausage and fried chicken. Seriously delicious! And the chicken was out of this world!! I've never had fried chicken that I've liked before, never mind loved!! We were on our way out and saw the guys chucking oysters. We stopped to watch for a minute and Brandon asked us if we wanted to try an Oyster Shot. My friend sidelight away and after a little nudging I did too but with some delicious home made Seafood Sauce. Again delicious!! I would most certainly recommend Royal House to anyone who wants have a delightful NOLA meal with wonderful service. I'm sure we will be back!!
